Structural profiles and planks made from fibreglass provide a resource-saving and energy-efficient alternative to traditional materials such as steel, wood, aluminium and concrete. With advantages such as high strength, low weight and high corrosion resistance, fibreglass finds wide application in construction and for industrial purposes.

In general, fibreglass has a good reputation for its environmental profile, and ours is certainly no exception. With an energy-efficient production, longer durability and fewer resources for maintenance, fibreglass is an energy- and cost-optimised alternative to traditional building materials such as steel, wood, aluminium and concrete.

An energy-efficient alternative for construction

Our fibreglass is a polymer-based composite, consisting of fibreglass and polyester. In combination, it provides a very strong and rigid material. Therefore, fibreglass profiles and planks are often used in load-bearing structures where the combination of high strength, low weight and corrosion resistance plays a crucial role, e.g. bridges, cladding, swimming pool and coastal applications and well as in rail industry.

Advantages with fibreglass building profiles

  • Strength as steel and only 1/4 of the weight

  • Corrosion- and weather resistant

  • Minimal resources for maintenance

  • Long life even in demanding environment

  • 100% recyclable material

  • Energy-optimised production process
