In 2022 MUTAG launched a new product: the Mutag EcoChipTM made from PE post-industrial material from their production. An environment friendly product which is used with great success for the biological water and wastewater treatment in the sectors of municipal sewage, but also for industrial wastewaters and for aquaculture systems.
Mutag EcoChipTM was launched in 2022. It is a sustainable and environment friendly product. It is made from PE post industrial material from their production such as surplus or cuts, which is being granulated in our own production facilities.
Mutag EcoChipTM possesses the exact same design, quality, and performance as MUTAG’s original product Mutag BioChip™. However, the Mutag EcoChip™ is an eco-friendlier product. Both because of the recycled raw material, the company’s focus on zero waste, their use of the newest technology and their production that runs on green energy from wind turbines.
Mutag EcoChip™ is completely free from phthalates and other plasticizers. It does not contain any questionable compounds which may be harmful to the environment. Furthermore, it does not emit microplastics.
The Mutag EcoChipTM is used with great success for the biological water and wastewater treatment in the sectors of municipal sewage, but also for industrial wastewaters (eg. Pulp&Pater, Food&Beverage, Coke Production etc.) and for aquaculture systems. In these sectors, the use of the product is purposed for, but not limited to COD/BOD removal, nitrification, denitrification and the ANAMMOX process.
